Film an Independent

Our videos are built from real footage of real independents. Most of it we film ourselves. Some of the best of it comes from you.

Ten seconds of an independent near you is all it takes. The coffee being made. A sandwich built. The counter. The shopfront. The queue out the door. The walk to get there.

Hold the phone vertically and hold it still. About ten seconds. No talking over it, no music, no filters. Ask first, and please avoid customers’ faces and anyone’s children. The shop is the star.

What we collect: your name, email, the business name and the clip. Why: so a person can review the clip, credit you and contact you about it, on the basis of the consent you give above. Clips we do not use are deleted within 30 days. Approved clips stay in our library until you or the business ask for removal, which happens straight away: message us on Instagram. If a child is identifiable in a clip we will not use it.
